Due to heavy winds and currents the swim leg was cancelled. Bart dominated on the bike and held off Swiss athlete Ruedi Wild (03:12:26) to claim the victory in Bahrain. James Cunnama (ZAF; 03:13:54) completed the podium.

read more...Corinne Abraham, member of the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team, finished 3rd in IM 70.3 Austin. Due to injury and a bacterial infection, Corinne couldn’t race for 6 months, whereby she had to miss out on this year IM World Championships. With only a short period of of full training in the bag, Corinne is clearly on the way up again after a difficult couple of months.
